Aaron Goldman formerly principal flute of the OPO, Beautiful Music Chamber Player and member of the Orlando Flute Choir now resides in Washington DC. Aaron came to visit in December 2009 and stopped by to play with our flute choir in honor of old times with our group. We enjoyed him coming to play as well as Lobo at the Christmas Holiday events for Walt Disney World. Aaron is a great flutist and is as kind as he is fabulous! Congratulations to Aaron on his continuing career as the Assistant Principal Flutist with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington DC. One of his fondest memories, he said, was being on stage with Yo Yoma, cellist and playing for the President at the White House. Here's wishing Aaron continued success! Pictures include a Beautiful Music performance as well as a photo following his concert with Sir James Galway here in Orlando as well as a photo horseback riding and a recent chamber group picture in the concert hall. Way to go to the Atomic flutist! Aaron has a gracious spirit always giving heartfelt advice with humor and grace! Aaron is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, New York. Standing next to Aaron during our Holiday performance, I enjoyed playing along with his shimmering flute! He plays a gold Muramatsu flute at this time. Look forward to your next visit!

ReplyDeleteAaron Goldman will be featured at the upcoming Florida Flute Association, events - formerly of Orlando Flute Choir & Three Flutes Only, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, currently with National Symphony, this coming weekend January 30, 2015. Knowing Aaron and playing alongside him was always a joy, fun and truly an inspiration. A great player with a truly humble spirit. Favorite performance when he played with Sir James Galway for Orlando Philharmonic Concert prior his departure to Washington, District of Columbia to join National Symphony Orchestra.
