Casa Feliz, a lovely historic cottage nestled away in Olde Winter Park, is a very special venue to Beautiful Music as we were asked to provide the first music at this lovely venue with our Guitarist and Flute Duo performing for the Friends of Casa Feliz Soft-Grand Opening Private party and then our Guitar Flute Duo performing by request for the Grand Opening events and each event for all the first year events at the Casa Feliz, First Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday, Christening, Corporate event and Holiday event. Beautiful Music is the official music and the Preferred Vendor for Live Music of the Casa Feliz since prior to their Grand Opening and Pre-Soft Openings for the Friends of Casa Feliz. This special venue is a unique vintage setting dated back to the 1932. This is the signature residential work of the noted architect James Gamble Rogers II. Built during the great depression for a cost of $28,000, the house was Rogers' only project at the time. Known as the crown jewel of Winter Park in "City of Homes" over the next 70 years. Community members rallied as the threat of demolition was evident in year 2000. The house was saved and ultimately moved 300 yards away to it's current place on the Winter Park Golf Course. Highly skilled craftsmen and artisans worked to restore the house to it's original design. The most recent work completed in 2009 was the donated custom kitchen built to compliment the venue perfectly provided by W Kitchens is state of the art! Our performances in November and December 2004 was the opening for the Friends of Casa Feliz and Grand Opening to the public. It was a magical event with a vintage sound that suited this special vintage "happy house". Hundreds of events have ensued with Beautiful Music. Special noted events include the Art Openings by Peter Pettigrew in October 2009 with our Beautiful Music Jazz Trio and Harp and Flute Duo for the Donors Dinner for this opening event catered by Preferred Partner Arthur's Catering. Beautiful Music performed for the first English Tea and the Holiday Open House. Beautiful Music also began the Music Series at the Casa Feliz series with assistant director by request which has now become a weekly concert performance including many musicians. We do perform monthly for this lovely venue as our commitment to bring awareness of this unique and special historic treasure by offering our best for their concert series to the community. partner at Casa since prior to Grand Opening events. Their Spanish Guitarist and Latin Jazz Guitar Flute Duo performed for the pre-opening party and Grand opening events for this special venue. The hundreds
of events that have ensued also included the first Casa Feliz wedding, Christening, Birthday Party and Corporate Event. Shannon’s performers range from solo musicians to ensembles with custom instrumentation.
